Biophysics, Papyrology
I found a very useful webpage yesterday (if you're into this stuff), Biophysics.org, which runs a Biophysics Textbook Online. I am generally skeptical of internet sources, but the book chapters are written by reputable academics. The chapter on NMR that I've been reading through is penned by someone at UCSF, and I find it very well written.
Hannibal over at ars technica deconstructs deconstructs the Oxyrhynchus papyri story that hit slashdot last week. His criticism is sound and not without merit, as he's current enrolled in a papyrology seminar at UChicago.
Historical note: I haven't been reading much of ars technica in the last few years, but back when they changed their slogan to "Serving the PC enthusiast for over 2x10^-2 centuries", it was a funny way to celebrate their two year anniversary, and I'm amused that they've kept updating the slogan. Now it makes me feel like an internet veteran. =)
Also, I haven't heard anything lately, but I'm eagerly awaiting the deployment of MARSIS that is supposed to be happening next week. (!)

1 musings:
oops. your biophysics link is broke. that's a cool website though, i've actually used their AFM page for a class.
